How do you keep Gold Vermeil from tarnishing?
Keep it Dry
One of the quickest ways to tarnish your jewellery is by contact with moisture and liquids. This includes lotions, hand washing, perfume and sweating.
To help keep your vermeil jewellery dry: → Wait at least 5 minutes after applying lotions or perfumes before putting on your special piece, and take it off before you swim and shower and your jewellery will last you years!
Cleaning your jewellery
You should clean your Vermeil and Gold Filled jewellery when it starts to appear dull and not as shiny as when you purchased it. Dirt and debris can build up in between the links of chains and on the backs of earrings which can make your jewellery look dull. To clean your jewellery use a soft cloth under warm water and rub gently. Be sure to dry your pieces thoroughly after, as any excess water can be damaging to your jewellery.
